"The Archangel told me to guard what's behind this door." - Sentry Angel
Description[]
The Sentry Angel is a large and powerful man who stands guard in the Outer World.
Appearance[]
The Sentry Angel is the largest character in game. He uses only one hand to wield the Protector Sword, which the Protagonist wields as a two-handed sword.
His large body, hands, feet and arms are disproportionate to his abnormally small head. He has small wings that appear to be lucky wings.
He wears a long, red-and-white Malkuth uniform that has long sleeves and the Malkuth cross on the front. He appears to have chains on his arms and legs, which are large and grey.
Upon burying himself, his sword is gone, as well as one of his wings, and he is covered in what seems to be his own rotting flesh and blood.
Personality[]
The Sentry Angel is short-tempered, and, like the Neophyte, he is loyal to the Archangel.
He taunts the Protagonist's efforts for trying to enter the door, questions why he doesn't speak, and even notes the Protagonist's constant look of anguish.
He also says some more normal things to the Protagonist however, such as when he asks (nicely) to see the Longneck's crystal.
Game Traits[]
The Sentry Angel stands in front of a metal door in the Outer World, and when the Protagonist approaches him, he does not allow him to go through the door.
After the Longneck dies, you can give the Sentry Angel his crystal, which drives him to bury himself, much like the Horned Girl and the Bagged One. However, he does not die and remains halfway in the ground.
When you do the first run of the game, in the simulation, if you hit him 25 times or more, he will get tired of it and kill you with the 'Super Malkuth Slash'.
Trivia[]
- If you throw a wing parasite at him, he will get angry.
- He is the only character to wear items that the Protagonist can wear.
