Description[]
The Outer World is the world after it was distorted by the Blaze.
Appearance[]

The PS2 in-game map in the Outer World.
The Outer World is an overcast wasteland with ruined buildings. It is devoid of water/moisture sans what appears to be an ocean, and there appears to be a severe lack of organic life present (in the PS2 game the only 'plants' are found in the Neuro Tower, and besides the NPCs the only 'creatures' are four Moon Meta-Beings).
The Outer World's sky is a dinstinct red hue as opposed to Earth's blue, and there also seems to be a lack of a day/night cycle. While there is a significant amount of dry rock, the Outer World seems to lack the precense of sand dunes that are associated with deserts that have no vegetation to hold the earth together. Whether or not this is due to an absence of wind or due to the distortion itself is unknown. Within the Malkuth sector, buildings and overall infrastructure are made of either stone, metal, or both. Any doors found are either metal shutters or simply open spaces, and there is a curious mix of metal lattice and stone brick/concrete in the archetecture that produces a very industrial atmosphere. Aside from the banners, posters, and inside of the lab, the sector is very matt. This is emphasised by what appears to be a power deficit, with the only working lights being in and around the lab or within the Neuro Tower. The Outer World metal is typically a rusted orange-brown mix, which coencides with rust types in that environment, while stones and concrete are grey and worne/cracked. <gallery type="slideshow" position="center"> 12.png|The lab entrance 13.png|Machinery part of the lab building 11.png|The Collector's corner 14.png|The Baroquemonger's corner 10.png|The Coffin Man's dungeon entrance structure 15.png|The two Consciousness Orbs on the path to the Neuro Tower 9.png|Latin Cross structures on the 'island' adjacent to Coffin Man's dungeon 8.png|Posters on a building featuring the Order of Malkuth symbol 16.png|The view from the pier 18.png|Looking at the buildings from the pier end 17.png|The road to the lab from the Neuro Tower, accentuating the red sky </gallery>
Game Traits[]
The Outer World is where the Protagonist meets the Archangel and begins his journey into the Neuro Tower.
Several characters reside here near the tower: the Bagged One, the Baroquemonger, the Coffin Man, the Collector, the Horned Girl, the Longneck and the Sentry Angel.
Trivia[]
- There are, in fact, 4 Meta-Beings present outside the Neuro Tower in the outskirts of the Malkuth sector. Like other Meta-Beings, they do not target the NPCs, however they can be baited into attacking NPCs if they are between them and the protagonist (which results in no reaction from the NPCs)<gallery position="center">
